How to use the Calculator
The National Immunisation Catch-up Calculator (NICC) can be used on any Internet enabled device, desktop, tablet or smartphone.
To generate a catch-up schedule, the user must simply complete steps. All of the steps are fairly straightforward and self explanatory. Descriptive hints and tips are provided along the way.
- Step 1: Pre-calculation screening - determines the eligibility of the person requiring catch-up.
- Step 2: Personal details - captures the relevant details about the person requiring catch-up.
- Step 3: Vaccination history - allows the user to enter the vaccinations administered to date. Previous immunisations can be entered as 'vaccines' or 'antigens'. If none have been administered, this step can be skipped.
- Step 4: Based on the information provided in Step 1, 2 and 3, the Calculator will generate the catch-up schedule, as stipulated by the National Immunisation Program schedule.
The catch-up schedule can be exported as a PDF.
