NICC 3.0 is available
What's new
The new version (3.0.0) includes support for all children under the age of 10, including those who may have multiple medically at-risk conditions.
Health professionals can select multiple medical at-risk conditions a child may have. Of the nominated medical at-risk conditions, the NICC will pre-select a 'dominant' (sometimes referred to as the 'primary') condition using a combination of factors. Health professionals can generate a schedule for the 'dominant' condition.
Health professionals can override the selection if deemed necessary. Catch-up schedules for each of the nominated medical at-risk conditions can be generated, one at a time.
Please note that owing to the complexities with the catch-up rules, at this time, health professionals will not be able to select multiple immunocompromising conditions (say 'Haematological malignancies and 'HIV infection') and/or multiple solid organ transplants (say Heart and Lung transplant). Although less common for the under 10s cohort, we understand that this might be more common in the older cohorts. Future releases of the NICC will include support for these scenarios.
