What’s new in the mobile app

Improved navigation

Find what you need more quickly and easily with simplified navigation. Customise your Handbook with bookmarks and highlighting so you can reach the information you use the most from any screen within the app.

Bookmark pages

To bookmark a page or section, tap on the bookmark icon in the top right of the screen.

Tap the bookmark icon at the bottom of your screen to see a list of all your bookmarks.

New/Updated status indicators

Pages that have been updated or recently added have flags next to the relevant headings. The flags are ‘updated’ in green, or ‘new’ in red.

Refinements and improvements

Multiple user interface and performance improvements were made in the latest release, along with a major platform upgrade.

App features

Works offline

The Handbook app contains the same content as the Australian Immunisation Handbook (the Handbook) website, so the same trusted information is accessible on smartphones and tablets.

The app enables access to Handbook content even when you do not have access to the internet.

Get updates automatically

Never miss out on Handbook updates. The app automatically downloads new content when it becomes available.

Find what you need, fast

Navigate with ease. Find what you're looking for using the search, and quickly filter or sort results.

Print and share resources

Double tap to zoom in to a figure or resource, print a publication or figure, or share it with a colleague.
