Download the Handbook app from:
- the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad
- Google Play for Android devices
How to use the app
Find information quickly
Use search to find information quickly. You can also filter and sort results to help find relevant content faster.
The app includes simplified navigation so you can move easily between sections.
Bookmark and save content
You can personalise your Handbook by bookmarking pages and sections you use most often.
To bookmark a page or section:
- Tap the bookmark icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap the bookmark icon at the bottom of the screen to view your saved bookmarks.
Identify new and updated content
The app highlights recently added and updated content:
- New content is marked with a ‘new’ label.
- Updated content is marked with a ‘updated’ label.
Access content offline
The app includes the same content as the Australian Immunisation Handbook website.
You can access Handbook guidance without an internet connection.
Get updates automatically
The app automatically downloads updated Handbook content when it becomes available.
View, print and share resources
You can:
- zoom in on figures and tables
- print publications and resources
- share content with colleagues
Performance and usability improvements
The latest release includes:
- faster performance
- user interface improvements
- platform and security updates
