Description:

55–65 mg/mL immunoglobulin (mainly IgG) prepared from human plasma containing high levels of antibody to the toxin of Clostridium tetani.

Single vial containing 4000 IU of human tetanus antitoxin.

Also contains maltose.

Administration advice

Tetanus Immunoglobulin-VF (for intravenous use) MUST NOT be administered intramuscularly because of the potential for anaphylactic reactions.
