Description:

Registered for use in people of any age. 

PVRV — purified Vero cell rabies vaccine 

Lyophilised powder in a monodose vial with separate diluent. 

Each 0.5 mL reconstituted dose contains: 

  • 3.25 IU inactivated rabies virus 
  • maltose 
  • 20% albumin solution  
  • Basal Medium Eagle, includes 4.1 µg phenylalanine 
  • sodium chloride  

Also contains traces of: 

  • hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide 

May contain traces of: 

  • neomycin 
  • streptomycin 
  • polymyxin
