Methods 1 and 2 are preferred over method 3 since they may reduce the risk of local reactions by avoiding vaccine coating the exterior of the administration needle.

Doses drawn up into a syringe should be used within 1 hour if kept at room temperature, or within 6 hours if stored at 2–8°C. Store in a clean container clearly labelled with:
